Drug intelligence / Profile preview
N-3C01 + pembrolizumab is a combination therapy consisting of N-3C01, a long-acting recombinant human interleukin-15 (IL-15) superagonist, and pembrolizumab, a humanized monoclonal antibody that blocks the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor. N-3C01 is designed to stimulate the proliferation and activation of CD8+ T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, thereby enhancing the immune system's anti-tumor response. Pembrolizumab works by inhibiting the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway, which tumors often exploit to evade immune detection. The combination is intended to provide synergistic anti-tumor activity by simultaneously activating effector immune cells and removing inhibitory signals. It is currently being evaluated in Phase I/II clinical trials for the treatment of advanced malignant solid tumors.
