Drug intelligence / Profile preview
StemSynergy Therapeutics is developing a program of small-molecule N-myc degraders for the treatment of N-myc-driven cancers. N-myc (MYCN) is a transcription factor often overexpressed or amplified in various aggressive cancers, including neuroblastoma and small cell lung cancer, and has historically been considered undruggable. These small molecules are designed to induce the proteasomal degradation of the N-myc protein, thereby inhibiting its oncogenic activity. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
