Overview

N-P27 is an engineered recombinant protein biologic being developed by Neurocarrus for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Described as a "plaque buster," the drug is designed to actively break down and dissolve established amyloid-beta plaques in the brain, a mechanism intended to reduce the pathological burden of the disease more effectively than therapies that only prevent plaque formation. N-P27 is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
