Drug intelligence / Profile preview
N7.1 peptide is a shortened fragment of the 16-amino acid N7 peptide, which itself is derived from the Hsp70 protein. This 8-amino acid peptide (SDNQPGVL) functions by inhibiting the interaction of TREM-1 with its ligands. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that N7.1 peptide exhibits protective effects in the development of sepsis in mice, suggesting its potential utility in anti-inflammatory and antitumor therapies.
