Overview

NA-932 is a novel triple receptor agonist that targets the insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptors. It is described as a metabolite of IGF-1 and is an analog of the lead compound NA-931. Developed by Neuro-Bio-Tech, NA-932 is being investigated for the treatment of metabolic disorders, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). In preclinical studies using diet-induced obese (DIO) mice, NA-932 demonstrated significant reductions in body weight (up to 26%), plasma glucose, and lipid levels, with efficacy comparable to the dual agonist tirzepatide. The drug is designed to leverage the metabolic regulatory roles of IGF-1 alongside the weight-loss and glucose-lowering effects of GLP-1 and GIP incretin mimetics.
