NA-933

NA-933 is a novel triple receptor agonist that targets the insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptors. Developed by NeuroActiva as an analog of NA-931, it is characterized as a metabolite of IGF-1. In preclinical studies using diet-induced obese (DIO) mice, NA-933 demonstrated significant reductions in body weight (up to 26%), plasma glucose, and lipid levels, with efficacy comparable to the dual agonist tirzepatide. Additionally, it showed potential in reducing liver triglycerides, suggesting therapeutic utility in metabolic disorders such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
