NA-941

NA-941 is an orally administered small molecule drug developed by Biomed Industries (and its subsidiary NeuroActiva) for the treatment of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). It acts as a novel quadruple-action receptor agonist, targeting insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1), glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), and glucagon receptors. By modulating these multiple signaling pathways, NA-941 aims to regulate IGF-1 homeostasis and address the metabolic roots of MASH, including steatosis, inflammation, and fibrosis. The drug is designed to be blood-brain barrier penetrant and is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials.
