Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NA-LMWH is a non-anticoagulant form of low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) designed to retain the anti-metastatic properties of LMWHs without their significant anticoagulant effects. It achieves its anti-metastatic action, in part, by promoting the release of endothelial tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI). Unlike standard LMWHs such as enoxaparin, NA-LMWH does not significantly prolong clotting time or induce thrombocytopenia, making it a potential anti-metastatic agent with a reduced risk of bleeding complications.
