Drug intelligence / Profile preview
nab-paclitaxel + carboplatin + anthracyclines + tislelizumab is an investigational combination regimen being evaluated as neoadjuvant therapy for triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The regimen combines nab-paclitaxel (albumin-bound paclitaxel, a taxane chemotherapy), carboplatin (a platinum-based chemotherapy), anthracyclines (such as epirubicin or doxorubicin), and tislelizumab, an anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody. Tislelizumab blocks the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands (PD-L1 and PD-L2) to restore anti-tumor T-cell activity, while the chemotherapy backbone induces immunogenic cell death and directly targets tumor cells. This combination is being evaluated in a Phase II clinical trial sponsored by Daping Hospital and the Research Institute of Surgery of the Third Military Medical University.
