Drug intelligence / Profile preview
nab-paclitaxel + carboplatin + camrelizumab is a combination regimen used primarily in oncology, consisting of three agents with distinct mechanisms. Nab-paclitaxel is a nanoparticle albumin-bound formulation of paclitaxel, a microtubule inhibitor that disrupts cell division. Carboplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that induces DNA crosslinking and apoptosis. Camrelizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), functioning as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance T-cell mediated antitumor responses. This combination has been investigated as neoadjuvant or first-line therapy for several cancers, including extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC), non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Clinical studies have shown promising efficacy and manageable safety profiles in these indications[1][2][3][5].
