A combination therapy consisting of nab-paclitaxel (albumin-bound paclitaxel), cisplatin, and sintilimab. This regimen combines two chemotherapeutic agents with an immune checkpoint inhibitor. Nab-paclitaxel is a nanoparticle albumin-bound formulation of paclitaxel that inhibits cell division by stabilizing microtubules. Cisplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapy that causes DNA crosslinking, leading to apoptosis in cancer cells. Sintilimab is a PD-1 inhibitor that blocks the interaction between PD-1 and its ligands, enhancing T-cell immune responses against tumor cells. This combination approach aims to leverage both cytotoxic effects of chemotherapy and immune system activation to treat advanced solid tumors.
