A combination chemotherapy regimen of **nab-paclitaxel**, **lobaplatin**, and **S-1**, used experimentally in the treatment of various solid tumors, particularly in advanced or metastatic cancers. - **Nab-paclitaxel** is a nanoparticle albumin-bound formulation of paclitaxel, a microtubule inhibitor that promotes microtubule assembly and inhibits disassembly, leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in cancer cells[1]. - **Lobaplatin** is a third-generation platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent that forms DNA crosslinks, leading to inhibition of DNA replication and transcription, which results in cell death. - **S-1** is an oral fluoropyrimidine, combining tegafur (a prodrug of 5-fluorouracil), gimeracil (a DPD inhibitor that prevents 5-FU degradation), and oteracil (which reduces gastrointestinal toxicity), targeting DNA synthesis by inhibiting thymidylate synthase. This combination is investigated mainly in Asian clinical research for advanced gastrointestinal and thoracic malignancies, leveraging the synergistic cytotoxic mechanisms of the three agents.
