Drug intelligence / Profile preview
nab-paclitaxel + tobemstomig is an investigational combination therapy consisting of nab-paclitaxel, a nanoparticle albumin-bound formulation of the chemotherapy agent paclitaxel, and tobemstomig, a novel immunotherapy. Nab-paclitaxel acts as an antineoplastic agent by stabilizing microtubules and inhibiting cell division in cancer cells. Tobemstomig is a bispecific monoclonal antibody targeting PD-1 and TIM-3 immune checkpoints, designed to enhance anti-tumor immune responses by blocking inhibitory signals on T cells. This combination aims to leverage the cytotoxic effects of chemotherapy with the immune activation provided by checkpoint inhibition for synergistic anti-cancer activity.
