NACC1 siRNA is a research-grade small interfering RNA (siRNA) tool compound designed to silence the NACC1 gene (Nucleus Accumbens Associated Protein 1) through RNA interference (RNAi). By targeting and degrading NACC1 mRNA, it suppresses the expression of the NAC1 protein, a transcriptional repressor involved in tumor growth, metastasis, and drug resistance. In preclinical studies, NACC1 siRNA has been utilized to investigate the role of the NR2F6-NACC1-NOTCH3 axis in malignancies such as endometrial cancer and urothelial carcinoma. Inhibition of NACC1 via siRNA has been shown to suppress cell proliferation and induce cell cycle arrest at the G0/G1 phase. It is primarily available as a laboratory reagent from life science suppliers and is not currently a clinical-stage therapeutic asset.
