nadunolimab

Nadunolimab is a fully humanized monoclonal IgG1 antibody that targets the interleukin-1 receptor accessory protein (IL1RAP). By binding to IL1RAP, nadunolimab blocks signaling of both IL-1α and IL-1β, key cytokines involved in tumor progression and therapy resistance. The drug also induces antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), stimulating natural killer cells to destroy tumor cells expressing IL1RAP. Nadunolimab has shown promising efficacy and manageable safety in clinical trials for solid tumors such as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), particularly when combined with standard chemotherapies. Higher baseline expression of IL1RAP in tumors correlates with better outcomes. Nadunolimab is being developed by Cantargia.
