NagPet

NagPet is a veterinary antimicrobial suspension developed by Bionag, utilizing silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) as the active therapeutic agent. It is designed for the treatment of a broad spectrum of systemic and localized infections in companion animals, including dogs and cats. The silver nanoparticles exert their effect through multiple mechanisms: they release silver ions that disrupt microbial cell membranes, generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) leading to oxidative stress, and bind to microbial DNA and proteins to inhibit replication and metabolic functions. NagPet is indicated for severe viral conditions such as Canine Parvovirus and Feline Panleukopenia, as well as systemic bacterial and fungal infections, respiratory complexes, and various dermatological conditions and wounds.
