Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NAL1282 is a transdermal patch formulation containing 5% lidocaine, developed by NAL Pharmaceutical Group for the management of pain. As a local anesthetic, lidocaine works by blocking voltage-gated sodium channels on the neuronal membrane, which prevents the initiation and conduction of nerve impulses, thereby providing analgesic effects. The NAL1282 patch is designed for a 12-hour application period and is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
