Overview
NAL8776 is a transdermal patch formulation of rotigotine, a non-ergoline dopamine agonist, developed by NAL Pharmaceutical Group for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. The patch is designed for once-daily application, providing continuous delivery of rotigotine to maintain stable plasma levels and stimulate dopamine receptors (specifically D1, D2, and D3 subtypes) in the brain. This mechanism mimics the action of endogenous dopamine, helping to manage the motor symptoms associated with Parkinson's disease and other central nervous system disorders.
