Naldecon is an over-the-counter multi-ingredient cold and cough brand used to relieve symptoms such as nasal congestion, rhinorrhea, sneezing, cough, headache, fever, and related discomforts. Different Naldecon formulations combine small-molecule agents including the first-generation antihistamine chlorpheniramine, sympathomimetic nasal decongestants such as phenylephrine or phenylpropanolamine, the expectorant guaifenesin, the cough suppressant dextromethorphan, the analgesic–antipyretic paracetamol (acetaminophen), and the CNS stimulant caffeine, yielding antihistaminic, vasoconstrictive, antitussive, expectorant, and analgesic effects in a single oral product.[1][2][3][4][6][7][9][10][11]
