Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SRD174 Cream is a topical formulation of nalmefene, a long-acting opioid antagonist that was investigated for the management of pruritus (itching) associated with atopic dermatitis. The cream was developed to target peripheral opioid receptors with the hypothesis that blocking these receptors would reduce itching sensations in patients with atopic dermatitis. However, clinical trials did not demonstrate efficacy in treating pruritus associated with this condition.
