NaMiX (Natural Killer activating multimeric immunotherapeutic complexes) is an experimental immunotherapeutic agent designed to reactivate Natural Killer (NK) cells. It consists of IL-15/IL-15Rα dimers coupled to single-chain variable fragments (scFvs) targeting the NK cell activating receptor NKp46. By providing both a potent cytokine stimulus (IL-15) and a direct activating signal through NKp46, NaMiX aims to restore the cytotoxic function and infiltration of NK cells within the hostile tumor microenvironment of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). In preclinical models, it has demonstrated the ability to expand cytotoxic lymphocytes and enhance tumor infiltration, particularly when combined with tumor-targeting engagers like TriKE.
