Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nanobe is a nanoparticle-based drug delivery platform developed by Oceanit for the targeted treatment of solid tumors, including prostate and breast cancers. The technology utilizes a photo-activated synthetic analog, which allows for precise, light-triggered activation of the therapeutic agent specifically at the tumor site. This mechanism is designed to enhance the efficacy of the treatment while significantly reducing systemic toxicity and side effects typically associated with conventional cancer therapies. By leveraging light to control drug release or activation, Nanobe aims to provide a more localized and controlled therapeutic intervention. The platform is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
