Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NanoCelle RNA Vaccine is a nanotechnology-based mRNA vaccine platform developed by Medlab Clinical using its proprietary NanoCelle delivery technology, which employs nanoscale carriers to encapsulate and protect mRNA payloads for targeted delivery. It is being adapted for intranasal administration as a "no-jab" solution, initially targeting COVID-19, with the nanocarrier enhancing mRNA stability against ribonucleases, facilitating cellular uptake, and enabling mucosal immunity induction via expression of viral antigens like SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. Developed in collaboration with University of New South Wales and Macquarie University, it leverages sublingual, buccal, dermal, or nasal routes for efficient delivery with reduced dosing requirements.[3][5][7][9][10][11][12]
