NanoDoce is a sterile suspension of submicron (approximately 900 nm) particles of pure docetaxel designed for local administration and sustained drug release at the tumor site. It is developed using a proprietary supercritical precipitation technology that converts docetaxel into large surface area microparticles (LSAMs), enabling direct injection into tumors or resection beds to increase intratumoral drug residence time and minimize systemic toxicity. The primary mechanism of action is inhibition of mitosis through tubulin modulation and promotion of tubulin polymerization, characteristic of taxane chemotherapeutics. NanoDoce is being investigated primarily for high-risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) and muscle invasive bladder cancer (MIBC), with additional preclinical studies in other solid tumors such as renal, prostate, breast, pancreatic, and lung cancers. Clinical data indicate favorable safety profiles with minimal systemic absorption and promising complete response rates in early-phase trials[1][3][4][5][6][7].
