Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nanoimod is a cancer immunotherapy developed by LIDDS AB, consisting of the Toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9) agonist agatolimod formulated with the proprietary NanoZolid drug delivery technology. NanoZolid enables the local, controlled, and sustained release of agatolimod from an intratumoral depot for at least six weeks, minimizing the need for repeated injections and reducing systemic exposure. By activating TLR9, the drug stimulates both innate and adaptive anti-tumor immune responses. It is currently in preclinical development, with plans for Phase Ib clinical studies in multiple cancer indications, including head and neck cancer, prostate cancer, sarcomas, and lymphomas, both as a monotherapy and in combination with checkpoint inhibitors.
