Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The **NANT Colorectal Cancer Vaccine (NCV)** is a combination immunotherapeutic approach developed by ImmunityBio to prevent or treat colorectal and other cancers. It incorporates a tri-valent adenoviral vaccine platform (Tri-Ad5: CEA, MUC1, brachyury antigens) in combination with the IL-15 superagonist N-803 (Anktiva) and is designed to activate both innate and adaptive immune responses against tumor-associated antigens. The NCV regimen uses metronomic low-dose chemotherapy to expose tumor antigens, followed by targeted immune activation using recombinant vaccine vectors, NK and T cell immunotherapies, and cytokine enhancement. The primary aim is to induce durable anti-tumoral T cell memory and enhance surveillance in high-risk populations such as those with Lynch syndrome, as well as in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer previously treated with standard therapies[3][5][7].
