Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Naodesheng is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) compound preparation widely utilized in China for the treatment of cerebrovascular disorders, particularly stroke sequelae, cerebral arteriosclerosis, and symptoms such as dizziness and headache. Developed and manufactured by various entities including Anhui Antai Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, the formula typically comprises five key botanical ingredients: *Panax notoginseng*, *Erigeron breviscapus*, *Crataegus pinnatifida*, *Pueraria lobata*, and *Carthamus tinctorius*. Its mechanism of action involves promoting blood circulation, resolving blood stasis, and dredging the meridians. Pharmacologically, it has been shown to improve cerebral microcirculation, inhibit platelet aggregation, reduce blood viscosity, and exert neuroprotective effects against ischemic injury, thereby facilitating functional recovery in post-stroke patients.
