Naoluoshu Ning granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by the Institute of Basic Research in Clinical Medicine, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is currently being evaluated in Phase II clinical trials for the treatment of mild-to-moderate vascular dementia. The formulation is specifically designed to treat patients exhibiting the TCM pattern of yin deficiency with yang hyperactivity and blood stasis (阴虚阳亢、瘀血阻络证). As a botanical-based therapy, it aims to improve cognitive function and manage symptoms associated with cerebrovascular-related cognitive impairment through a multi-target approach characteristic of herbal medicine.
