Naoluoshuning is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) compound preparation developed by the Institute of Clinical Basic Medicine at the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is specifically indicated for the treatment of vascular dementia (VD), a condition characterized by cognitive decline resulting from ischemic or hemorrhagic brain lesions. The formula is designed to address the TCM syndrome of phlegm-stasis blocking the orifices, which is believed to be a primary driver of cognitive impairment in VD patients.
