Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Naozhenning Granules (脑震宁颗粒) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Shanxi Zhendong Ante Biological Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Zhendong Anxin). Administered orally as granules, it is primarily indicated for the treatment of brain concussion, cerebral post-traumatic syndrome, and brain trauma. The formulation is a complex mixture of bioactive constituents, including iridoids, butylphthalides, salvianolic acids, flavonoids, and jujubosides. According to TCM theory, Naozhenning Granules function to cool the blood, invigorate circulation, remove blood stasis, and soothe the nerves. Modern pharmacological research suggests that the drug acts through multiple signaling pathways, including the PI3K/Akt, MAPK, TGF-beta, and RAS pathways, to alleviate symptoms such as nausea and vomiting associated with cerebrovascular and traumatic brain conditions. It is currently approved and marketed in China.
