Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Napigard is a brand of topical dermatological products developed and marketed by Med Manor Organics. It is primarily available in two formulations: **Napigard Cream** (containing benzalkonium chloride, lidocaine, and zinc oxide) and **Napigard Dusting Powder** (containing benzalkonium chloride, clotrimazole, and zinc oxide). These formulations are indicated for the prevention and treatment of diaper rash (nappy rash), minor skin irritations, cuts, burns, and fungal skin infections. Zinc oxide acts as a physical skin protectant by forming a barrier against moisture and friction. Benzalkonium chloride serves as an antiseptic to prevent microbial infections, lidocaine (lignocaine) provides local anesthetic action to relieve pain and itching, and clotrimazole acts as an antifungal agent to treat fungal infections.
