Overview

Naridrin is a sympathomimetic drug that acts as a vasoconstrictor and decongestant. It is structurally related to oxymetazoline and naphazoline, and has been used primarily in Japan for the treatment of nasal congestion associated with colds, allergies, or sinusitis. Naridrin works by stimulating alpha-adrenergic receptors in the nasal mucosa, leading to vasoconstriction of blood vessels and subsequent reduction in swelling and congestion. Its primary indication is for temporary relief of nasal congestion.
