Overview

This is a **combination of a nasal steroid and ketamine**, formulated for intranasal administration. Nasal steroids, commonly referred to as intranasal corticosteroids, are used as anti-inflammatory agents to treat allergic rhinitis and other nasal inflammatory conditions. **Ketamine** is an NMDA (N-methyl-D-aspartate) receptor antagonist, primarily used for its anesthetic, analgesic, antidepressant, and anti-inflammatory effects. Compounded products combining these agents are not FDA-approved and are sometimes used off-label, particularly in psychiatric and pain medicine settings. Intranasal ketamine, alone or in combination with other ingredients such as corticosteroids, is sometimes compounded for rapid-onset antidepressant or analgesic purposes, but its safety, efficacy, and dosing are not well established and have been the subject of regulatory concern[1][2]. There is no standardized, FDA-approved product consisting of a nasal steroid plus ketamine; such combinations are only available as compounded pharmaceuticals.
