Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Nasaleze** is a drug-free intranasal powder barrier product used primarily for prevention and management of allergic rhinitis and hay fever. Its core functional material is **hydroxypropyl methylcellulose** powder, which absorbs moisture after nasal insufflation and forms a gel-like film over the nasal mucosa. This physical barrier reduces contact between inhaled aeroallergens, such as pollen, dust-mite particles, and animal dander, and the nasal epithelium, thereby helping to limit initiation of allergen-triggered nasal symptoms and inflammation. Nasaleze has been evaluated in registered clinical studies, including a University of Chicago allergen nasal-challenge study.
