Natural killer cell infusion

Natural killer (NK) cell infusion is a type of cellular immunotherapy that involves administering NK cells to patients to treat various diseases, particularly cancer and autoimmune conditions. NK cells are part of the innate immune system and can recognize and kill abnormal cells, including cancer cells and virus-infected cells, without prior exposure to the pathogen. The therapy works by enhancing the body's natural immune surveillance and defense mechanisms.
