Overview

Natural Matrix Protein (NMP) Fibers are tissue-based bioimplants developed by Induce Biologics for bone regeneration. These products utilize a proprietary processing technology that "unlocks" growth factors naturally residing within the bone matrix, making them bioavailable to stimulate bone growth. The fibers contain a cocktail of endogenous proteins, including Bone Morphogenetic Proteins (BMP-2, BMP-7), Transforming Growth Factor beta-1 (TGFβ-1), Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF), and Platelet-Derived Growth Factor (PDGF). Regulated as a 361 HCT/P (Human Cells, Tissues, and Cellular and Tissue-Based Product), NMP Fibers provide both an osteoconductive scaffold and an osteoinductive signal. They are used in various orthopedic, spine, and dental procedures to facilitate fusion and repair of bone defects.
