SLIT-Latex is a sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) formulation containing natural rubber latex allergen extract derived from *Hevea brasiliensis*. It is designed to treat natural rubber latex (NRL) allergy by inducing immunological tolerance to latex proteins. The formulation is standardized by protein content (up to 500 mcg/mL) and contains human albumin, sodium chloride, phenol, and glycerine. It was evaluated in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial at the Hospital Santiago Apostol in Spain for patients suffering from latex-induced urticaria, angioedema, rhinitis, and asthma.
