NAV-002

NAV-002 is a bispecific antibody being developed by Navrogen for the treatment of solid tumors. It targets Folate Receptor 1 (FOLR1), a cell surface protein overexpressed in various malignancies. The drug is part of Navrogen's pipeline of Humoral Immuno-Oncology (HIO) factor-refractory therapeutic agents, which are engineered using the proprietary BRITE (Block-Removed Immunoglobulin Technology) platform. This technology is designed to overcome immunosuppressive factors in the tumor microenvironment that typically hinder antibody efficacy. NAV-002 is designed to engage FOLR1-expressing tumor cells while recruiting immune effector functions through a second binding arm to induce tumor cell death. It is currently in the lead optimization phase of preclinical development.
