NAV-003

NAV-003 is a humanized divalent bispecific IgG antibody developed by Navrogen Inc. that targets mesothelin (MSLN) and the CD3ε subunit of the T-cell receptor. The antibody is designed to bind to a unique epitope within region III (amino acids 525-560) of mesothelin, which is located proximal to the tumor cell surface. By simultaneously engaging MSLN-expressing tumor cells and CD3 on T cells, NAV-003 activates and redirects T cells to elicit robust CD3-redirected T-cell mediated cytotoxicity. Preclinical studies have demonstrated efficacy against patient-derived mesothelioma xenografts, supporting its development for various MSLN-positive malignancies, including mesothelioma, lung adenocarcinoma, breast, and colon cancers.
