Overview

NAV-201 is a small-molecule compound developed by Navrogen that binds to the CD16/Fc receptor (specifically CD16a, also known as low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III-A) and activates natural killer (NK) cells. This activation enables NK cells to kill tumor cells, even in the presence of immunosuppressive humoral immuno-oncology (HIO) factors produced by some tumors. NAV-201 was identified from a library of natural compounds using proprietary screening platforms and has been optimized through structure-activity relationship analyses. It is being developed for the treatment of cancers that are immunosuppressed by HIO factors, with preclinical development focused on hematologic neoplasms and solid tumors. Additionally, it has been investigated for potential use in infectious diseases such as COVID-19 due to its immune-enhancing properties[1][2][4].
