NAV-205

NAV-205 is a small molecule antagonist in the discovery and preclinical stages of development by Navrogen, Inc. It is designed to target the single-pass membrane protein with aspartate rich tail 1 (SMDT1), which is referred to in company literature as a "small molecule drug target" (SMD). The drug is intended for the treatment of both solid and hematologic (liquid) cancers. NAV-205 functions by overcoming immunosuppressive factors within the tumor microenvironment, specifically targeting humoral immuno-oncology (HIO) factors that can render tumors refractory to standard immunotherapies.
