Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Navepdekinra is an oral small-molecule interleukin‑17A (IL‑17A) inhibitor being developed as a next‑generation anti‑inflammatory therapy, primarily for plaque psoriasis and related IL‑17–driven diseases. It selectively inhibits IL‑17A signaling, a key cytokine in Th17‑mediated inflammation implicated in psoriasis pathogenesis, thereby reducing keratinocyte activation and inflammatory cascades in skin. Navepdekinra (also referenced as DC‑806, LY4100504, S 011806, Example 210) has been characterized preclinically as a potent IL‑17A inhibitor with anti‑inflammatory activity and has advanced into phase 2 clinical development in plaque psoriasis before discontinuation of development in that indication by its sponsors.[1][3][5][7][9][17]
