NAVS naphthalan

NAVS naphthalan is a specialized form of naphthalan that stands for "Non-Aromatic Very rich in Steranes" naphthalan. It's a transparent, earth mineral oil prepared through complex separation and refining processes from an oil that serves as the starting material for brown naphthalan. It is created through a purification process that removes potentially mutagenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) using liquid chromatography, with UV/VIS spectrophotometry confirming PAHs are below detection threshold in the final product. The resulting substance is rich in steranes, which contain chemical structures similar to bioactive substances like vitamin D3 and steroid hormones.
