Overview

NAXOZOL is a combination drug designed to provide sequential delivery of naproxen and esomeprazole strontium. It consists of an enteric-coated naproxen 500 mg core followed by a non-enteric-coated, immediate-release esomeprazole strontium tetrahydrate 20 mg mantle. This formulation is primarily used for treating osteoarthritis and other rheumatic diseases while reducing the risk of gastrointestinal complications associated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) use.
