Nazilai is a traditional Uyghur herbal medicine formulated as granules for the treatment of the common cold. Specifically targeting "heat-type" Nazilai (热性乃孜来) symptoms in Uyghur medical theory, the drug is being developed by the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is currently undergoing Phase II clinical evaluation in China to assess its efficacy and safety in alleviating symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections in adults.
