Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NB-73 is a small molecule inhibitor that targets the Forkhead box protein M1 (FOXM1) transcription factor. It is a potent, selective, and efficacious inhibitor of FOXM1 in high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) cells, suppressing FOXM1 target genes, inducing apoptotic cell death, and synergizing with standard chemotherapy (carboplatin). NB-73 displays superior potency, efficacy, and selectivity compared to other known FOXM1 inhibitors, and is under investigation as a potential therapeutic agent for HGSOC.
