NB001 + NB002

NB001 + NB002 is an investigational combination therapy developed by Ningbo Newbay Technology Development (NewBay Pharma) for the treatment of HER2-positive advanced solid tumors. The combination consists of two distinct monoclonal antibodies, NB001 and NB002, which target different epitopes of the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2). By binding to separate domains of the HER2 extracellular region (typically Domain IV and Domain II, respectively), the combination aims to achieve dual HER2 blockade. This synergistic approach inhibits both ligand-independent and ligand-dependent receptor dimerization (including HER2/HER3 heterodimerization), thereby more comprehensively suppressing downstream oncogenic signaling pathways such as PI3K/Akt and MAPK. This strategy is designed to improve clinical outcomes in patients with HER2-overexpressing cancers, similar to the established combination of trastuzumab and pertuzumab.
