Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nb120 is a therapeutic nanobody (single-domain antibody) developed by The Second Hospital of Nanjing for the treatment of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS). SFTS is a high-mortality infectious disease caused by the SFTS virus (SFTSV), a tick-borne bunyavirus. Nb120 is designed to bind specifically to the SFTSV, likely targeting the viral envelope glycoproteins (Gn or Gc) to neutralize the virus and prevent host cell entry. It is currently undergoing evaluation in a Phase I/II clinical trial (ChiCTR2500113092) to determine its safety, pharmacokinetics, and clinical efficacy in patients with acute SFTS infection.
