NBP2001

NBP2001 is a recombinant protein-based vaccine candidate developed by SK bioscience for the prevention of COVID-19. It induces an immune response using the surface antigen of SARS-CoV-2, aiming to generate neutralizing antibodies that prevent viral infection and spread, particularly in the lungs and respiratory system. Preclinical studies demonstrated strong immunogenicity and safety in animal models, with primates showing significantly higher levels of neutralizing antibodies compared to recovered COVID-19 patients.
