Drug intelligence / Profile preview
NBP607-V is an **MDCK cell culture-derived, inactivated trivalent seasonal influenza vaccine** developed by SK Chemicals. It contains purified influenza-virus surface antigens from two influenza A strains and one influenza B strain from the **B/Victoria lineage**; virus is inactivated and the vaccine is intended to induce protective humoral immune responses against the included influenza strains. NBP607-V was evaluated as an active trivalent-vaccine comparator in a randomized Phase III study against NBP607-QIV and the B/Yamagata-lineage formulation NBP607-Y in adults and older adults. It should not be conflated with the quadrivalent NBP607-QIV product or with NBP607-Y. ([tandfonline.com](https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.1080/21645515.2017.1297351))
